Authorities are monitoring conditions across Bangladesh and will decide on postponed examinations based on the latest weather reports.
The government has not yet decided whether to postpone the Dhaka Board Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination following demands from some students due to heavy rain and bad weather.

He said the government was still waiting for the latest weather report before taking any decision. According to the minister, heavy rainfall has also affected parts of Dhaka.
"We have not yet received the latest weather report. We are waiting for it. A short while ago, I was discussing these issues with the adviser and the secretary," he said.
The minister added that the final decision on the HSC examination would be made after assessing the weather conditions across the country.
He said officials were in contact with deputy commissioners (DCs) in all 64 districts and the chairpersons of the education boards to monitor local conditions. The government is reviewing whether examinations can be held safely in each area.
According to the minister, examinations will be postponed in places where it is not possible to conduct them because of the weather. He said the authorities are also updating examination schedules and preparing arrangements for any postponed tests.
Prime Minister's Adviser and spokesperson for the Prime Minister's Office Mahdi Amin and State Minister for Primary and Mass Education Bobby Hajjaj were also present at the press conference.
The minister said all decisions would be taken according to the situation on the ground and that protecting the interests of students would remain the government's highest priority. The authorities are expected to announce any decision after reviewing the latest weather conditions.
