Dhaka Central University (DCU) to Publish Subject Preference List on August 3
Dhaka Central University will publish the subject and college preference list for the 4-year Honours 1st Year programme of the 2025–2026 academic session at 10:00 PM on August 3, 2026.

Online subject choice submission for the Arts and Social Science, Business Studies and Science units began at 12:00 PM on July 24. Candidates who passed the admission test can submit their preferred subjects and colleges until 11:59 PM on July 30 through the official website, dcuadmission.org.
After the preference list is published, applicants must confirm their admission by paying Tk 6,500 online through the Sonali Bill Payment System. The payment and confirmation period will run from August 4 to 11:59 PM on August 12.
The university also announced the migration schedule. The first migration result will be published at 10:00 PM on August 14. Students selected in this phase can pay the admission fee, confirm admission, and change their subject preference order from August 15 to August 19.

After the subject and college list is published, selected applicants must confirm their admission by paying Tk 6,500 through the Sonali Bill Payment System.
The payment and confirmation period will run from August 4 to August 12 (11:59 PM).

The second migration result will be published at 10:00 PM on August 20. Students selected in this phase can complete admission confirmation and modify their preferences from August 21 to August 23.
The final result, including the allocated subject and college, will be published at 10:00 PM on August 25. The university has tentatively scheduled the start of classes for the new academic session on September 6.
Important instructions for applicants
Candidates must complete the choice form online within the specified deadline. The university said students who confirm their admission may keep auto-migration either enabled or disabled. If enabled, they may automatically move to a higher-preference subject or college if a seat becomes vacant.
Applicants seeking admission under a quota must provide all quota-related information and upload supporting documents while submitting their online subject preferences. The university said no new quota information will be accepted later.
Students who do not confirm their admission within the deadline will no longer be considered for admission.
Final admission process
The affiliated colleges will be able to download the information of admitted students online from 10:00 PM on August 25, 2026.
Students who are finally selected must submit the admission form, payslip, and required documents to their respective college offices from August 26 to August 31. The required documents include the original marksheet, an attested copy of the marksheet, a testimonial from the last educational institution, a photocopy of the HSC admit card, a photocopy of the SSC registration card, and five passport-size photographs.
The university said all admission-related rules mentioned in the admission guidelines must be followed, and the authorities reserve the right to amend or add admission regulations if necessary.
