The results of the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will be published across Bangladesh on August 10, according to a notice issued by the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee on Monday (July 27).
The committee said the results will be released simultaneously across the country. The notice also informed students, guardians, heads of educational institutions, examination centre secretaries, and the public that the method for obtaining the results will be announced later through another official notice.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, confirmed the date while speaking to the media. He said the date for publishing the SSC and equivalent examination results has been fixed for August 10.
This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21. The written examinations under the general education boards ended on May 20, while the written examinations for Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) concluded on May 24.
According to official data, 1,857,344 students registered for the 2026 SSC and equivalent examinations. Of them, 1,418,398 appeared under the SSC programme, 304,286 under Dakhil, and 134,660 under SSC and Dakhil (Vocational).
The announcement is important for students and families across Bangladesh who have been waiting for the examination results. Schools and colleges are also expected to begin admission-related activities after the results are published.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said further instructions on how students can access their results will be issued through an official notice before the publication date.
