SSC Result 2026 Delayed, Will Not Be Published on July 20

The SSC Result 2026 for Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations will not be published on July 20 as previously planned, according to the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, President of the Bangladesh Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Education Board, confirmed the update while speaking to Jago News on Saturday (July 18).

He said the education boards had been working to publish the results by July 20. Following the Education Minister's directive, all boards completed the necessary preparations for the planned release.

However, the publication process has been delayed because officials involved in the work have been occupied with urgent administrative responsibilities. As a result, the boards were unable to complete the final steps needed to publish the results on the expected date.

Professor Akhtaruzzaman said the delay is expected to be brief. He added that the education boards remain hopeful of publishing the SSC and equivalent examination results within this month.

When asked whether the results could still be released before the end of July, he said, "We are hopeful that we will be able to do so. We expect to complete our work and publish the results within this month."

The SSC and equivalent examination results are awaited by students, parents, and educational institutions across Bangladesh. The results are an important step for students preparing for admission to higher secondary education.

The education boards have not yet announced a revised publication date. Officials said the new schedule will be confirmed once the remaining administrative work is completed.
