SSC Result 2026 Preparations to Finish by July 28, Govt to Decide Release Date
All preparations for publishing the SSC and equivalent examination results will be completed by July 28, according to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee. However, the government will decide the final date for releasing the results.
Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, president of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, confirmed the update on Sunday (July 26). He said all necessary preparations would be completed by July 28, after which the government would select a suitable date for publishing the results.
"We will complete all kinds of preparations by July 28. After that, the government will determine a convenient date for publishing the results. Accordingly, we will publish the results," Professor Akhtaruzzaman told the media.
He also responded to reports circulating on different platforms claiming that the results would be published on July 30. He said he was not aware of any officially approved date.
"If the government sets a date, we will complete all activities accordingly," he said, adding that no final decision had yet been communicated to the education boards. Once published, students can check SSC Result from the official website.
The SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21 this year. The written examinations under the general education boards ended on May 20, while the written examinations for Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) ended on May 24.
In Bangladesh, SSC and equivalent examination results are generally published within 60 days after the written examinations are completed. However, the exact publication date is announced by the government.
A total of 1,857,344 students registered for this year's SSC and equivalent examinations. Among them, 1,418,398 appeared under the SSC programme, 304,286 took the Dakhil examinations, and 134,660 were enrolled in SSC and Dakhil (Vocational).
The education boards have nearly completed the work needed to publish the results. Students and guardians are now waiting for the government's official announcement of the publication date.
