The results of Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations 2026 will take another four to five days to be prepared, according to the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee.

Professor Syed Akhtaruzzaman, President of the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee and Chairman of the Dhaka Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board, shared the update in a brief conversation with ResultBoss on Sunday (July 19, 2026).

He said the result preparation process is taking slightly longer this year because the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations are now underway. However, he added that the work is moving ahead quickly.

According to Professor Akhtaruzzaman, the education boards will inform the Ministry of Education once the results are fully prepared. The ministry will then decide the official publication date.

This year's SSC and equivalent examinations began on April 21, 2026, and ended on May 20. The practical examinations have also been completed.

More than 1.857 million students took part in the examinations this year. The figure includes candidates under the country's nine general education boards, the Madrasah Education Board for Dakhil examinations, and the Technical Education Board for SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) examinations.

The update is important for students and parents across Bangladesh who are waiting for the examination results. The final publication date will be announced after the Ministry of Education receives the completed results from the education boards.

For now, the result preparation work is expected to continue over the next few days before the ministry makes a decision on the official release date.
